Leading up to the big day, a bride almost forgets about the morning of, not purposely but simply because of how special the whole day and night is… starting the special journey of spending the rest of your life with your partner. However, it’s believed that the morning of the big day sets the overall tone of how your wedding day is set out to be.

The word bride can be easily associated with the words beautiful, holy, success and also stress… Because it’s one of the most important days of a woman’s life there is a bit of intensity behind the scenes of how the day will be and that’s where Lessis Collective has stepped in... literally!

It is believed that comfort is the easing or alleviation of a person's distress or feelings. A physical state of comfort creates a positive outlook and which then initiates the domino effect. The morning of a bride’s special day should always be luxurious, stylish and comfortable.

Our Clara slipper was put to the ultimate test, sent out to our brides to wear for the morning leading up to their big day. Its these moments that matter, for a bride to look and feel her absolute best before she says “I Do”. Lessis Collective was able to assist with the confidence boost starting from the very bottom.

In this special blog post we were able to interview 2 beautiful brides and gain insight of how their morning was before they officially tied the knot and how Lessis Collective contributed to their special day. 

Excited, nervous, happy, many emotions flow through you the morning of your wedding and trying to make sure the day happens perfectly. One thing I’m so glad I did to help my emotions, was that I wore the Clara slipper to keep me comfortable and feeling good and ready to enjoy the day!

Surprisingly I woke up feeling really relaxed, although once I had had a shower and changed into my bridal pjs the reality that I was a bride and the nerves had started to set in, but not long after having these feelings I received a really sweet message from my groom which instantly put me at ease and I fell back into my relaxed let’s get this day started

Did you find that the morning of your wedding day set the mood for the day?

Emily
For sure!! Having a relaxed, smooth and comfortable morning the day of your wedding sets the vibes for the entire day. You are on your feet for over 12hours and having that luxury and comfort on your feet before putting on your heels contributes to setting that mood!

Absolutely, as my bridal party arrived they all couldn’t believe how calm and relaxed I was. 

 

What were some things that you really loved when getting ready?

Emily
I loved being glammed! I enjoyed watching my hair and makeup transform me to look the best I could and by wearing the Clara slipper, you know you look good from head to toe.  

 Sam
I loved just spending time with my bridal party and my mum, all the girls are such a fun time we had many laughs a long with a few happy tears. They definitely hyped me up with the music playing and a few sneaky shots. 

 

Do you think that its important to feel comfortable on your wedding day?

Emily
My wedding day to me was one of the most important days of my life where you want to enjoy it and be in the moment. I believe being comfortable is a major factor to that. 

 Sam
Absolutely, I think having a good group of people around including your hair and make-up artist make you feel relaxed and comfortable if I didn’t have that I don’t think our day would of been as smooth as it was.

 

Did our Clara slipper provide you with stylish comfort? Please explain.

Emily
Words cannot describe the stylish yet comfort the Clara slipper gives you! It feels as though you are walking on clouds with the soft touch and supportive sole, but with also being so pretty with the perfect butterfly detail. I am obsessed with them and wore them throughout my honeymoon to continue that on top of the world wedding feeling!

As my bridal party opened their wedding day gifts they all instantly took their shoes off and wore their Clara slippers. They were so surprised with the softness, comfort and how cute they were. They all thought the slippers were the best part of their gift bag.

 

What did you like most about the Clara slipper?

Emily
It’s hard to pin-point one thing I like most because I love everything about them! The comfort and feel of them on your feet, at the same time of looking so stylish. They make your feet feel pretty which makes you feel good!

Sam
I personally am obsessed with the design, how light weight and soft they are. Anyone who knows me knows I am in love with butterflies and fluffy slippers so it was the perfect fit for me on my wedding day even had a sneaky play with my something blue!
