THE SISTER DUO
GROWING IN COMFORT
When you think comfort you’re automatically drawn to the feeling of softness, relaxation and overall content, whether it be the food you eat, your own hang out space, a cozy blanket or even the person you are with. But when you think stylish, you’re drawn to colors, cuts, embellishments, designers and more.
But what if we combine the two, to create stylish comfort you can wear anywhere, at any time, during any stage?
Let's talk pregnancy....
There is no doubt that it has its positives, however the experience also comes with its own battles, which often play with the mental aspect of your whole pregnancy experience. Growing another life as magical as it is, is not always easy to feel good or think you look good.
In a special edition Lessis Collective, was able to seize the opportunity with two sisters that are sharing the experience of a life time, together!
Camen and Lauren open up to us and give perspective of what is important to them when looking and purchasing the perfect fit, whilst being pregnant.
A big problem for some however, we have a perfect solution for all.
Q. How do you find this pregnancy experience has been knowing that you both are in it together? Has it been more special? Hasn’t really changed? Has it been nicer?
Camen
It has been nice to be in it together, we can relate with what’s going on with each other and the changes we are facing.
Lauren
It’s been nice, especially having someone you can ask anything and also relate too - there is kind of no boundaries as it’s your sister and who could be closer than that!
Q. When looking for clothing to wear pre pregnancy and now, has your style changed? Explain your style to me.
Camen
Not much has changed for me, I’m all about comfort and whatever is quick and easy to put on usually a dress. Before it would have been flowy and now it’s more likely tight to show the bump.
Lauren
My style hasn’t overly changed. I will always look for something comfortable yet versatile. During pregnancy early days I would very much lean towards an oversized tee and bike shorts but as my bump got bigger I would wear tighter dresses to show off my new body shape.
Q. What’s important to you when you’re shopping and looking for clothing to wear before, during and after pregnancy?
Camen
That’s it’s comfortable, easy to just throw on and good quality as I usually like to wear the same thing a lot.
Lauren
Something comfortable and that I can wear casually or dress up if I need too!
Q. This particular dress you’re wearing, did it fit you well and why do you think it did?
Camen
It fits amazing, the cut is a great length including the sleeves. The material is good too nice and stretchy without being see through.
Lauren
Yes, it fit like a glove! The material is super soft and stretchy and hugs you in the right places.
Q. What do you like about this particular dress?
Camen
Love that it’s got an open back so it’s not just a boring dress and shows some skin.
Lauren
The fit and that it can be dressed up or down.
Q. What would you say to potential customers that would like to purchase this item?
Camen
It’s a great item to have in your wardrobe it’s super versatile.
Lauren
This dress is a perfect staple item for your wardrobe either pregnant or not.
